Ok, today I went through the "Mile Sur Mera Tumahara" video created by some MIT students and it reminded me of the old days when television was just getting introduced in India. It was created by "Prasar Bharati" institution of India and was an excellent video presenting the various parts of india, various cultures and various languages, all seamlessely integrated in one cohesive musical presentation. It used to be on the tongue of every kid throughout India. A really nice creation by the MIT folks.

Most of sunday evening and a lot of monday evening went into cleaning our old house. Man, was it dirty. We swept and vaccuumed and mopped and the amount of trash we took out was almost same as the amount of stuff we had moved. This house that we lived in for almost two years had hosted more than a dozen people at some point or other; the peak at about 9 or so people staying concurrently. Finally we are done though and I am pretty happy about it.

The week has been chugging along, I have been somewhat productive, received some advice on writing both from Ellen and Shashi. In related news, Richard left on Monday for Pennsylvania where he has a faculty position.
