The weekend plan for the camping trip was abandoned. This weekend Lakshmi has to move, the previous weekend Amita had to move. Next weekend also Lakshmi has some obligation and weekend after that, who knows...
I was planning to visit Rajeev in the second week of August, but dunno whether it will be feasible or not. Ellen seems a little bit skeptical about the looming Aug deadline, but we will see.
The new house seems nice. It is a gated community and you can walk at any time of day or night without the fear of getting mugged. There is a pool which seems alright, but the gym sucks. There are two treadmills, a couple of nautilus machines, a few precors and the place stinks of sweat. Whew, I am better off jogging outside the lake (actually it is a huge muddy pond, but the realtors like calling it lake ;).
Have been writing an article on "women that shaped me". Now that the article reaches completion, I wonder if it is a good idea putting it online. Come to think of it, ever since the paranoia of the big brother watching you and "the internet never forgets" has gotten into me, I have become somewhat conservative in using strong words against others or myself online.
Also, it seems that I have discovered that I like talking about myself. Many people like talking about themselves but to me it comes as a bit of surprise. The fact became apparent to me after I started the narcissim section on my ( web page). Well, it also might stem from the fact that I have started this blog, which talks, well, about me and what is happening in my life.
A lot of people are graduating in our group. Li, Minaxi, Richard have graduated, Kim is looking for a job, Shashi is gonna graduate by december, Meng and Qi He by next summer. Holy cow, seems like I need to move really fast.
