Mobicom poster deadline is on monday I think. Shashi had an idea some time ago but he was not pursuing it. So, I thought lets try it. We tried and it worked... well in a way. Anyway, he came with another idea. It sure is novel, but the solution approach is not too good right now. We need to come up with a better solution or the idea is toast. We will see.
The Taekwondo test is on 17th. No butterflies in my tummy though. I have gotten used to the test taking thing. Apart from that, there are no other yellow belts testing for the green belt, so that takes some more pressure away. No need to prove it before anyone. On sunday, it was Ryan Swanson's birthday, so we went to have some icecream at the Tech Square. Following tuesday, Ryan beat me up in the Taekwondo class. I don't feel ashamed or anything, because he is a 6' 5" 250+lbs behemoth. Also, he is a blue belt. I have been faring better against others, so I guess that is alright.
Also, recently, I scanned quite a few pictures and slides. This scanning had been pending for quite a while. Then I had been on a website update spree. So I updated the travel section, split it between the travel and party sections. In the travel section, I added the slides that I scanned. Those pictures were taken when I went to Rajeev's place in St. Forth, Dallas. I had the digital pictures online long back, but the slides were pending. IMHO, the slides look much better than the digital ones; probably because I am more careful when I use my SLR. Also, the lenses on the SLR are much better. It took some work, but I am happy with the end result.
Tomorrow need to meet with Ellen, so got to do a little writeup. Let us see how that will go.
