Visited Rajeev over the fall break. Rajeev was thinking of coming down to Atlanta but then he got some other engagements. I was craving to go somewhere and I took the opportunity offered by Northwest airlines (low fares) to Dallas, Ft. Worth and I was on.

Jitesh dropped me at the airport in the evening and I boarded the plane for Memphis. After waiting for an hour at the airport, finally I boarded the plane for texas. The lights at the Memphis airport (actually, the city) are beautiful. Looking down from the aircraft, it looked like a sea of lights that just hit a shore and ended.

At the airport, Amitabh, Durga and Rajeev had come to pick me up. It was dinner time and we finally reached Don Pablo's for a mexican dinner. The two days spent at Ft. Worth, Dallas flew by. First day Rajeev and I went to the Texas state fair. There were many things to do in there and you could see the texas cowboys roaming around.

Next day Rajeev and I visited Whiterock lake (in his Jeep Wrangler, no less!). It is a huge lake and quite pretty too. We spent 3-4 hours by the lake and talked. After coming from there, Rajeev cooked pasta for me and we went by another lake close to his apartment and sat there for a while. In the evening Durga had invited us to her place for dinner and the food was delicious.

Next day, early morning Durga and Rajeev dropped me at the airport and I was back to Atlanta.
